I saw a s1 delinquents picture the other day and I got so sad. The caption made it worse. It said that the 100 was their story and how the show strayed so far from that. It’s true.

So many unnecessary characters and storyline. It’s actually sad.

I agree to some degree, Sharon. I get why it had to stray away from the original characters but at the same time, they’re the reason why a lot of us fell in love with the show in the first place so it’s hard to stomach certain things that has happened in the show.

Exactly, Kate. And I have to admit, seeing Monty in season 1 makes me sad because I remember that we lost him in season 5.

Sarah, I’m off the mind, you don’t need to erase the original premise to make story last or even cohesive. Believe it not, it’s an issue with many tv shows. It’s why I think not everyone should be afforded writing credentials. I think characters story and what they meant to that story should be weaved through the entire series. The 100 has always had issues with serving such a thing imo. And the biggest problem for me was making characters that should only serve plot more important than they are.

I won’t name names. We know what type of show this is, will there be deaths, naturally. Would we lose some of them, probably. But as a show now, The 100 is nearly non existent, I mean the delinquents. Besides the leads and mains of the show, there is no 100. It’s times like this when I believe the show is incorrectly named.

I haven’t read the books in a while but if memory serves me correct, I think Kass kept most of the 100 alive.

I know who you mean and I totally agree, Sharon. Sometimes, I really do wonder what is in Jason’s and TPTB’s heads because some stories and character focus just doesn’t make sense.

I’m glad that all in all though, Monty got a good send off because that is what he (and Chris) deserve.

I remember when he disappeared near the end of s1, I thought he was a goner, ngl.
