New writers should be required to watch the whole show.

I really want to enjoy this episode.

Maybe. I feel that way too, maybe they should make it mandatory to watch the episodes before writing for the show. Tough job but someone’s got to do it.

And ok great now I'm going to be on high-alert for dorky lines tonight

I’m sure Jason gets to do final revisions on all the scripts, though.

Lisa, you’re on dork line duty then.

Having said that, I feel like the writing on this show is still great and solid ... minor gripes here and there. It’s still bearable. I just compare it to the lines and storylines in other shows on the CW ... no comparison. I just cringe a lot for those other shows.

I think writing convincing, human-sounding dialogue is one of the hardest things to do. I'm sure they'll get better with practice.

Dialogue is my absolute favorite thing to write.

True and considering it’s one/two lines of really bad dialogue per episode, it’s not too bad in hindsight. I’ve literally watched shows where half the episode has horrendous dialogue. I no longer watch those shows because of the secondhand embarrassment.

With that, I’m out! Enjoy the episode, lovelies.

Speaking of bad dialogue, watching the last few minutes of the Flash is always such a trip. Dude runs up somebody's stretchy rubber arm onto a helicopter. Once inside the chopper, the first thing the guy says to him is "Cecile's pregnant." Looooooooool. It's like the Young and the Restless meets 60s Batman meets Gumby.

Did y'all see that pill bottle Abby had? I'm imagining Abby's doctor visit now. "So you need a refill on your oxycodone? Are you still using the Eligius pharmacy?"

We got Clarke/Monty interaction and she gave him the letter.

Okay, that stuff is gross.

Paige is knocking it out of the park with this storyline. Loved the dramatic Kabby scene.

Jasper’s letter!

So . . . they’re like trying to weaponize the worms now? I’m a little confused.
