It would be really weird if Abby and Jackson were the only qualified medical stuff though. Surely the Ark had more doctors or nurses?

I keep thinking that too...surely there's got to be someone else? But then again, if there was wouldn't we know about it? Sigh.

I'm surprised that he didn't try to convince her to change her mind, based on that. Taking aside his personal feelings on the matter.

I do think that we will see it being addressed next week, even with a lot of other things going on.

I think that Jackson was on the list, it would be strange if he wasn't.

It would be really weird if the Ark just had one doctor but they never brought up other doctors but that doesn't mean they didn't exist. But she's still their no. 1 doctor, so even if there are other people with the medical knowledge, she's surely the one, they rely on the most.

I agree. I think (hope) they're saving that argument for the finale. In the middle of such heated drama, that would be the time for him to admit that he loves her, too. Since it was odd he didn't say it when she did.

But I have to believe she'll come around eventually because she knows he's right. That she's a doctor and essential to their survival underground for five years. Regardless of their relationship.

Yup, and like Paulina said, even if they have other doctors onboard, she was the one who treated Jaha and such on the Ark so I'd assume that she's the most experienced one in the lot.

But hopefully, since Arkadia came into place months before (once the other stations came down to the Ground), they should have some sense to train some of them to be doctors in training, at the very least.

It was never addressed on the show and it's not that important but I hope they trained people, so they could help them, assist if there were more people needed.

Yup, and plus there were times when Abby was not in Arkadia (like when she was at Becca's lab) so I'd assume that they had one medical personnel there, at least, to treat people and such.
