There is literally NO WAY the Bellarke 5x04 hug should lose given the lead it’s amassed and the fandom’s push for voting for it. The only way it will lose is if the votes suddenly shift due to cheating.

I'm all for The 100 getting more media attention, but honestly these online vote things are all meaningless. None of the leaders deserve to win as far as I've seen. Whichever fandom can waste more of their time voting repeatedly wins? I think that takes the fun out of it entirely. None of the results mean anything about the actual quality of the shows or anything. I'm sorry, but that Bellamy and Clarke hug was not "sexy" at all. But I guess it's really important that their fans brigade a poll and make it sexy? It's just... sigh. I would rather The 100 get attention for things it really is doing well like fight scenes or something.

I would really rather this show not get a reputation for spamming shipping polls and stuff like that (but that's kind of already a lost cause.) And I can think of multiple other scenes of The 100 this season that were actually sexy, so I just can't wrap my head around how that hug is supposed to be the sexiest scene on television??? I'm cringing.

Eh, I wouldn't worry about it too much. Some people enjoys things that you may necessarily not, no shame in us all having fun with it.

Have fun with it, by all means. I'm just saying that it's not the end of the world if Lucifer fans are cheating or something because at the end of the day it's really just an award for Most Obsessed Fandom. They don't need to reset the whole event or disqualify fandoms over it.

Agree. While I still think that scene is more intimate than sexy, I sure as hell would like it to win because it was a beautiful moment, IMO. And there are different kinds of sexy.

Exactly. I vote in some polls more than others, as long as I’m having fun with it. If people don’t want to vote, they don’t have to vote, and they don’t have to be critical of people who are. Simple enough.

I have no issue with the polls and if people enjoy doing them that's fine, I don't think your average person even knows they exist/would think different of the show because of them.

Exactly, it's not that deep. Vote if you want to (I also prefer the once-and-done polls but the E!Online one is a bigger one and would give the show more publicity, whether it's ship related or not) or don't, no one is forcing fans to vote if they don't want to.

This is awesome! So much funds raised in a short amount of time, kudos. Love it when the fandom (and cast) bands together to do something great like this.
