Gaia is just . . . I don't know, I shouldn't say anything. I'll start to rant.

What's your problem with Gaia?

Well, you asked for it:

First off, I'm totally unconvinced by the actress. I think she's beautiful but is miscast in the role.

Second, I don't understand why they expect me to feel any emotional attachment to a character who has been introduced this late in the game and whose role has basically been limited to flamekeeper and Indra's estranged daughter. (Not that I'm saying I want her role to be expanded.)

Third, I'm not an Indra fan, so it's hard for me to really care about that relationship. Their scene in 4x03 went on way too long.

Fourth, Gaia annoys me with all her talk about the flame, mostly because the AI storyline did not end up being one of my favorites, and I feel the show is better when it drops the technology emphasis it had during season three.

Anyway. That's it, pretty much. No disrespect to any Gaia fans. I just . . . I'm not one of them. And I'm fully aware that there are characters I like who people might dislike, so that's okay.

Those are decent reasons! :lol: I was just curious. Tbh I kinda agree that the character seems kinda..one-note. I don't know. She hasn't been given much development of any sort, I guess.

I was kinda indifferent to Illian. He was okay. I liked him with Octavia but eh, his death didnt affect me.
