 I got totally distracted by making arts for Paula's dedicational thread and forgot about the new thread here  I hadn't even heard that Nadia got attacked on Twitter until today  That's totally insane, some people have really lost it  __________________

I wasnt aware of the attacks either. Some said she needs to kill herself. I was speechles Reading such things! I think Nadia hasnt Twitter, so it wasnt her real Account which got deleated, but they thought it was her real one so that doesnt matter. I think the reason those "Fans" are attacking her is because Nadia said that Luna is stronger than Lexa. __________________

Thanks for the new thread!
Nadia was misquoted, and while I agree that fans should not have sent threats and everything they did, the misquote (as it was interpreted) was a little offensive - and at the end of the day that is not on Nadia, but the account holder who initially tweeted the misquote, leaving Lexa fans feeling as though the character had been discredited. Not everyone will see that. (I know that does not nor will it ever justify threats to that level, because I know how it feels, I was sent threats along the same lines on tumblr yesterday. It's absolutely disgusting.) And that's apparently not even Nadia's twitter. Eliza tweeted the account and said stop pretending to be Nadia, she doesn't have a twitter, she never did. But then the account replied saying "you tweeted the wrong account, Eliza" and now it's a great big mess.  __________________

It's so awful what happened
 why are some people so hateful and cruel? And something weird happened. So the twitter account that we thought was Nadia deactivated but reactivated again. And then Eliza said that it wasn't the real Nadia. Then another twitter account, RealNadiaHikler just opened. This is ALL so weird because the cast all follow the previous account and were tagging her using that as well. __________________

I don't understand this "fandom"... I posted on tumblr yesterday how I wish for Clarke to just be on her on for a while and be able to grieve and I log on later to an anonymous ask telling me to go kill myself. I don't get it. The younger side of the fandom really make you feel like not being a part of it anymore. I'm really done with ship wars and backlash. I just want to enjoy the show and support Clarke/Eliza. I'm grateful we at least have this board, where they aren't around.

Ugh that's unacceptable, Belle.
People are so gross and insensitive sometimes, nothing justifies asking someone to kill themselves.  Ever. That's the issue with this fandom, and unfortunately I don't think it'll ever go away even though it's 100% wrong. People need to check themselves and put themselves in each others' shoes instead of being keyboard warriors and attacking everyone without thinking. Another thing that annoys me is people posting anti stuff in the character/ship tag. It's so damn rude.__________________
