6x10 is the CPR scene, but . . . well, you know what we talked about yesterday, Sarah. I think 6x11, happening right after that scene, would have been a great time for them to become canon. And imagine Bob directing that huge moment.

Oh right, I’m just messing up episode numbers now.

It would have been perfect but apparently, we can’t have nice things. This is the pairing which logically would have made the most sense in terms of becoming canon, but nope - pairings that don’t make any sense end up happening and the one with the most buildup didn’t. Smh.

Remember the high when this scene aired? I miss that feeling so much. And it also made sense since it was Aaron’s last episode and he went out with a bang (before everything all fizzled out).

I think potentially the plan may have been to have a breakup earlier in season 6 (hence that one random, weird fight they had), but since Kim was in charge of a lot of that season, it didn’t happen that way. And then Bellarke canon in 6x11 after the CPR scene would have made perfect sense.

Aaron’s last episode was an incredible one. The “she is” scene is so simple yet so powerful and is definitely one of my favorite scenes from the show. Probably my second favorite, to be honest.

Honestly, I can't even with how drawn out that was ... I can't believe that it took Bellamy getting brainwashed for it to finally happen.

I just wonder exactly when and why the decision to not go with romantic!Bellarke was made. But anyway, nothing which can be done now (unless Beliza decide to do their own alternate ending in the future ... would totally be down for that. I would definitely crowdfund something like that since TPTB ****ed it up spectacularly.

Yeah, it just sucks knowing that the intention (at some point) was to follow through with all the foreshadowing, all the build up, everything that had been shown on screen and everything that had been written . . . and then nothing. We all know Jason is just focused on the prequel now, so I actually wonder if it was more of his decision or Kim's. Ultimately, he's the showrunner, though, so he's the one in charge. But I feel like Bellarke was doomed the second we lost Aaron and Kim came back on board.

That would actually be perfect timing. And it would be enough time after Echo's out so no one could act like Bellamy moved right into Clarke's arms.

Deep down, I felt that too. I felt all my Bellarke hopes deep diving when I found out that Kim was back. I just knew that it wouldn't bode well for them. Oh, it would have been so different without Jason OR Kim and Aaron there.

I’ll never get over how much wasted potential we have with this ship and what magic Aaron would have done, if he has the reins to the show.

He’s a much better writer, IMO.
