Amelia, I love how we both have unusual picks for scenes which made us Bellarke trash.

For most, it's 1X09 but it's 4X06 for you and 1X10 for me.

Agreed, Sharon ... which is why I believe that Bob was upset over Jason's interview after the finale. Bob and Eliza are incredible actors as we know, and if they were TOLD to play Bellarke platonically, it would have come across that way. But it simply isn't, so I can see how it'd be frustrating for the actors to be told ONE THING and then for the showrunner to say something completely different in interviews.

Not that anyone has said this, but I'm just pointing this out: It would also be insulting to Beliza's acting if anyone tried to suggest their real feelings affected their ability to play Bellarke as platonic. They had no issue portraying Bellamy and Josie as enemies.

Bellamy/Josie had no romantic chemistry, as you said.

I get why people would parallel Bellarke and Beliza's story because it's uncanny in many ways ... but we still need to separate the actors from the characters. And it'll be a complete disservice/insult to them as actors to suggest that their RL feelings leaked out in any way or impact their scenes together. I've definitely seen posts like that and it makes me uncomfortable (also, because they were with other people at that time).

They had Sim New Year’s, and that also got wild.

They’re both awesome actors and could definitely portray Bellarke as platonic if they were meant to. But when things are filmed a certain way written a certain way, they act out what they are given.

I actually think Bob and Eliza are both people you can rely on to speak more positively about Bellarke nowadays.

I find it also interesting how you can see tons of chemistry in Bellarke scenes and then, when Bellamy interacted with Josephine, they didn’t have any of that ... because they’re not meant to have chemistry.

Beliza are that good, that they can convey that effectively.

For sure.

Eliza rightfully got a lot of credit for her portrayal of Josephine, but Bob deserves a lot of credit for helping to make that dynamic such a different one. Same with Richard, although he didn't have to alter the dynamic quite as much as Bob did. That whole storyline worked really well and felt very unique and different because of what they all put into it.

I'm just gonna say it: Even my Sim Bellarke have more chemistry than Becho.

This is their romantic place.

I think his mom walked in on this.

April, it was a joint effort though I would say that it was a more challenging role for Eliza since she had to play Clarke, Josephine, Clarke playing Josephine and Josephine playing Clarke.

Also, them having to alter the Bellarke dynamic once Josephine was in the equation.
