Agreed, and I think it's like we said before. They come from very different backgrounds but yet their lives have interestingly paralleled each other's lives in certain ways and so they're able to still relate very much to each other.

Btw, I know you won't be able to rewatch with us in real time but was thinking we can coordinate the same two days for the Day Trip rewatch so that at least we can all comment and recap where necessary in the thread when we do.

My friend and I are watching some more episodes tomorrow. We're on 1x06, so I imagine we'll get through Day Trip. She's actually pretty into the show, so we're trying to get her through as much as we can before we leave.

It's 4-3 now in the vid voting, Pieces still losing.

Yeah, I kept telling her that we just needed to get through Day Trip for sure, but at the rate we're going, we'll get through the entire first season at least. She'll be at the Q&A session with me, so some of the stuff she hears there will either go right over her head or spoil her about things to come, but I don't think she minds.

She say she likes that the show makes you think about bigger moral issues, grey areas, that kind of thing.

I'm glad she's enjoying it a lot so far. At least, the things being discussed during the Q & A session won't go completely over her head even if she's still pretty behind in the episodes. Does she have ships/favourite characters so far? And you're really not too far away from finishing the season since S1 has fewer episodes and all.

I need to steer her away from Flarke, because for some reason, she was liking their dynamic. But I think she already likes Finn less now that she knows he cheated on Raven.

I don't know if she has a favorite so far, but she says she sees the appeal of Bellamy, and she thinks Murphy is pure evil right now.

I'm really interested to see what she says after the next few episodes, since we'll be watching the Blake siblings flashbacks in the next one and work our way up to Day Trip, which is obviously huge for Bellamy and Bellarke.

I say ... go for it! You won't have many chances to go to similar conventions so go big or go home. Especially if you think you are going to regret it once the opportunity has passed. You need to buy it in advance, presumably?

I wouldn't say she ships. She just said she thought they were "kind of cute," which I think a good number of people did at first, until they either got bored with it, saw the beauty that was Bellarke, or just started really disliking Finn.

I've promised her many good things about Bellamy's character development, so hopefully she won't be disappointed.

I think it bodes well that she already finds him intriguing. Does she like Clarke by the way? Like I said before, I found both of them a bit hard to swallow at first and now, here we are with BC being one of my top OTPs ever.

So is there a plot to that fic? I'm finding that I'm a total sucker for things that I think have both a good plot and good smut.
