It is truly very sad ... it's one thing to let it play out organically, quite another to drag it out just for the sake of it and then pretend that you never tried to bait fans. People are just DONE and tired of it, I can't say that I blame them. (as long as they don't actively campaign for the show's cancellation and all) I'm glad that you're still positive though ... we need more of that right now. I myself am having a really hard time with that, this is the worst that I've felt in the three years that I've loved this show and shipped Bellarke, TBH.

Agreed, April. I voiced it out to them and they're entitled to how they want to feel, of course. But I just think that there's a more dignified way to go about things ... which they didn't. And I didn't read the full statement TBH, just that they decided to shut IB down but yeah, I've been focusing on Bellarke Buzz anyway and that is a better source this year in any case.

I'm officially leaving Twitter, it's too depressing going through my feed these days ... I'll still be updated via one of the general Twitter accounts for the show and still interact with some followers but that's it. Tumblr is okay though, I mainly reblog GIFsets and there's less negativity (on my dash, at least) so that's fine.

Yes, get off of Twitter! Seeing all that negativity and pessimism inevitably drags a person down! You’ll feel so much better without it. Ever since I’ve just been following Bob and Logan and Conageddon, I feel so much . . . lighter. You won’t find yourself in need of pick-me-ups so much because you just feel less down to begin with.

Twitter is a joke, I've never seen such over-the-top whining and dramatics in one place in my life And most of the people on there seem to think Twitter represents the whole fandom/audience, which is hardly the case.

well I'm also a fan of Bones and the main ship on that show Booth & Brennan (B&B) took 6 whole seasons to happen, so I'm used to waiting a long time for my fav ships to happen I love Bellarke so much and I haven't lost my patience with Jason...yet, so I'm still remaining positive and hopeful for Bellarke to happen I don't care when they finally become a couple, I wouldn't mind it if we have to wait until the very end of the series for it to finally happen, I just want Bellarke to happen, whenever!

Love the positivity! This is where I'm at with it, too. Even if I have to wait until the very end of the series . . . I might be a little bitter about it, but I'll just be glad to have it happen.

Haha! Yaasss! I respect that they feel they need to step down, but I'm all for a Twitter account that promotes positivity instead of encouraging other members of the fandom to be negative and nasty, like IB did at various points this season.

I watch The 100 for more than just Bellarke even if I'm a diehard Bellarke shipper. I like other aspects for sure. So I would never drop the show unless something really bad happened that I couldn't get over. Like if they actually killed off Bellamy or Clarke. I would bail then. Otherwise, I'm staying until the end.

I think losing Bellamy is the only thing that could make me quit watching. I like to think I’d keep going like Becks and Amelia did after Lexa, but it’d be hard, that’s for sure.

Eliza kept me in post season three, but if I lost ANOTHER fave, idk if I could.

This hiatus is already so slow. April, I hope when you post the new fic it will go by faster. Eventually totally helped last hiatus.

My Friend finished Season 1 and im amazed by her Thoughts About Bellarke. I would have never believed before she would ship them that way because she loves to analyze Things, but dislikes shippers most of the time. Guess she couldnt resist Bellamys Charm and Clarke great Character. It also helps that she already loves Bob Welcome to the club.

It will be very interestig too see how she reacts to the Event of Season 2 because so much happens. Finn, Lexa, Bellamy/Clarke seperated. She is used to them being together the whole of Season 1 so i guss she wont like it when they get seperated for so Long in Season. Or she will like it because it is interesting and she likes both chracters individually? I dont know. Readingher comments made me not only remember how amazing Bellarke was in Season 1, but also how much i liked Clarke back then. I hope in Season 6, i can like Clarke again, while still loving Bellarke.

OMG, how do you ship two slow burn ships? Teach me your ways. Bellarke are pretty much my only slow burn ship (well, the longest one anyway) and even that is almost unbearable. #nopatience

Yup, Twitter is just too toxic and I'm just done with the in-fighting and drama. Going to stick to Tumblr and FF, mostly.

Yeah, I think that the only way that I'll drop this show entirely is if they kill any of my three favourites. That would be my last straw TBH.

I know there are People on Greys Anatomy, who still ship Alex/Meredith, even though it has been made clear off and on screen after 15 Seasons, that they are just best Friends. Those are poor Souls.

I would still watch the Show, even if they killed Bellamy, Octavia, Raven or Murphy (and Clarke). Im in until the last second.

Edit: I loved The Before and the After and The Infinite Ways. The first one would actually have been a Good Idea. Not just Madi telling Bellamy in like 2 seconds without proper Reaction from Clarke and such, but really Hearing them a bit and Clarke getting all shaked up because that was a hard Time and she was vulnerable there and the confrontation in front of everyone and with Bellamy there..Eliza, Bob and Lola would have acted out such a Scene so well.

I feel like I could understand it better if it's explicitly clear from their scenes that it's obviously meant to be platonic and nothing more, but that's not the vibe I get from Bellarke scenes. Especially in season 5. And no matter what Jason says offscreen, I truly believe that it's his intention to keep things vague, to make viewers believe that maybe it'll happen. And that's not right, to string people along like this.

Glad that you liked the fics. Still feeling bummed out right now but I hope to start reading some of those soon, too.
