Honestly, I really loved their finale scenes ... just wish that the rest of the season was executed better. Way better.

I think it was a middle of the road season. Some things could have been better, but some things were done really well.

That gifset on the last page is awesome! I love unique ones like that. So cool.

I’d say that’s all a matter of perspective. Like for instance, I prioritize Bellamy above all else. So I liked this season for Bellamy, so there was more good for me. Even season 3, which, despite bringing me so deeply into the fandom, is in retrospect my least favorite . . . even season 3 has more bad than good, IMO.

Im rather sad waking up to the News of both "Bellarke News" and "Everything Bellarke" (two big Twitter Accounts with About 18k followers each i think) dropped out of the Fandom. It is so sad to see two Accounts, that have been very active and Long running gone because they feel baited (what i dont see/fell) and because they didnt like this Season in General, they are just done.







Im also sad because i think for some People it was like the last drop. If you think About it, the first Half of Seasn 5 was Pretty great for Bellarke. We got Epic Lines ("She is"), we got a very cute Reunion/Hug, we got others shippers on Board (Hostage Taker and his Girlfriend, Traitor who you love), we got jealous Scenes (kissing Echo, camera on Clarke) and several nice Secenes between the, It was just not enough, not Living up to the Expectations after the Time jump and 5B sucked in that regards.

I just wish for s6, the Writers learn from their mistakes and let the characters talk more, talk in Depth and dont seperate Bellarke in Episode 2.

I've said it before but even though I didn't like parts of season 3, the season was generally still pretty solid and moved the storyline and character development along nicely. Whereas I felt like so little was actually accomplished or moved along in season 5, which is utterly baffling considering ALL the potential of resetting the relationships, after the time jump. I'll always be bitter about that, TBH.

They really didn't have to be so touchy feely here but I love it:

That made me sad too, Yvonne. I felt like IB acted pretty childish this season but this is HUGE, a big account giving up on the show and Bellarke that I actually felt really sad about it when I read about it today. I admit that I've been feeling really down when it comes to that too, recently ... and that seems true for a lot of fans out there. It's not even just what is going on in the show but the fact that we feel belittled within the fandom, by some castmembers etc. It just gets too much sometimes. I really, really, REALLY hope that they can fix things in season 6, but I'm just not that optimistic about it anymore. TPTB truly broke the fandom this year, IMO.

And yes, I hope that about Shannon too.

There's been a lot of people giving up. There's a Bellarke tumblr that's on indefinite hiatus and several people have changed their urls from 100 related to other ships/shows. It's a sad time to be Bellarke fan.

I can understand...even with all the many Bellarke hints we've had since the beginning, it seems more and more likely that Bellarke might never happen and that Jason is just playing with all of us fans and dangling all the Bellarke moments in our faces just to gain ratings. So it's understandable that some fans have grown tired with all the baiting and manipulating from Jason, and have given up, which is very sad But despite some shippers giving up, many other fans seem to still hold on hope that Bellarke would eventually happen, including myself, I still think Bellarke would probably happen at the very end of the show, I haven't given up on Bellarke!

I have very few nice things to say about the way the people who run the Info Bellarke account conducted themselves this season, and I still do.

I truly am concerned for viewership heading into season 6, I will admit, but if people choose to quit watching, fine. But this whole writing an essay explaining why you’re leaving the fandom and shutting the account down, stating your interpretations of the season as facts . . . ugh, it drives me up the wall. Just say, “Due to our dissatisfaction with the way season 5 was written and our disappointment in the way some cast members and the show creator have expressed their opinions, we’ve chosen to deactivate our account indefinitely. Thanks for the support for all these years, and best of luck to those who continue with the show.” Boom, short and sweet. No need to rehash all the issues and drag the fandom down further in the process.

Whatever. Bellarke Buzz quickly became a better Twitter account to follow anyway.

I cannot recommend enough just leaving Twitter and Tumblr if you feel brought down by the negativity, you guys. It’s so . . . freeing.
