I thought I was the only one! (Some of you may have actually caught where I was from if you watched Bob’s Conageddon panel. )

A mutual Becho breakup would be best, but I could also handle Echo breaking up with him. Might do something positive for her character. Although . . . okay, there is literally NOTHING Bellamy could do in breaking up with her or choosing Clarke over her that would make him look bad to me. I’d celebrate.

Yes, I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but have been living in Minnesota (Twin Cities) for many years now.

When do you think they'll break up? Do you think Jason will keep them together (if that's what you call together) for a while or will they break up fairly quickly?

I think a mutual Becho ending would be for the best. Maybe early-ish season six. And then they don't have to rush BC. Like, say... episode three, BE broke up, and then the rest of the season would be hinting at Bellarke and especially leading up in the last three-ish episodes, with a big 6x12 or 6x13 romantic BC moment to lead into season seven.

BTW, I don't know if I've introduced myself to some of you. I'm Amelia.

This would be ideal. We were really off base with how they’d progress in season 5 though (sigh) so I’m just going to expect the worst until proven otherwise.

Honestly, I would really want Bellamy to break it off because you just know that people will say that Clarke is sloppy seconds or whatever (even though it could not be further from the truth) if it was Echo breaking up with him. I would be okay with a mutual breakup though.

By the way, I just saw another Tumblr rant about someone being annoyed about the “now you care about him?” line so it’s definitely not just us here on the board that feels that way.

^ That's good to know, Sarah. I have one guy from my board and a personal guy friend who both hate that line too and they don't ship in general. It's definitely not just Bellarke shippers.

Honestly, that's what I think too. I still get that same creepy feeling from Echo that I've always gotten. That's why I cringe when Bellamy's anywhere near her. He's too good, too pure to be around her so closely. I don't believe she's changed either and given the right situation, her true colors will come out more strongly. I would love to see it actually, lol.

I have a lot of thoughts about Becho that are best left in PMs because they are not PG 13 board thoughts but yes, this relationship is just such a disservice to Bellamy in many ways. I just cannot. I actually think that I dislike it more than CL (which if you know me, is saying a lot).

Jen's tweet is exactly why they need to pick up s6 like... the minute after where the finale left off. Jordan can go do spaceship maintenance, and Bellarke can finally hash some stuff out.

my opinion about echo is she has no charisma at all
i can see bellamy thinking clarke is dead and moving on with his life even so she commited a lot of crimes but i dont know if the actress felt intimidated with the responsability but the sex scene between raven and bellamy had a lot more chemistry and by the time i already shipped bellarke but lindsey is so good actress and charismatic
all the sex scenes she did was good and i dont even love her character i feel raven is kind of arrogant
i can see the storyline of echo regreting her mistakes bc of her love but onscreen the emotion is not there the chemistry is no there she always gonna be a stranger

the impression I get from the Clarke-Bellamy-Echo love triangle is that it's so obvious from very early on that Bellamy has already fallen in love with Clarke for a long time, but he doesn't think she feels the same way about him so he's been burying his feelings for her deep inside. And during the 6 years that he was on the ring he and the others all thought that Clarke had died, so Bellamy forced himself to move on with Echo, not knowing that Clarke was still alive. His reaction when Madi told him that Clarke was still alive was very telling to me and he immediately rushed to save her. Now that Clarke is back his feelings for her have resurfaced, but he is dating Echo now and that complicates things for them. Clarke's feelings for Bellamy had been a bit more uncertain, I used to think she only cared about him as a friend and her feelings for him were strictly platonic, until in S5 there were some hints that suggests Clarke might be in love with Bellamy too. For me it's so obvious that the one Bellamy truly loves is Clarke, but he can't just break up with Echo and be with Clarke asap, I don't think Bellamy is the kind of guy who would break a woman's heart like that, it would be too cruel and unfair to Echo if Bellamy just dump her for Clarke. So I don't think Becho would break up anytime soon, I think they will more likely gradually drift apart as Bellarke spend more time together, I hope over time Echo would realise just how important Bellarke are to each other and just how much they love and care about each other, and eventually Becho breaks up amicably. I don't want Clarke to be the active third wheel in Becho's relationship, I want the couple to break up on their own terms and amicably before Bellarke happens. With that said I don't think Bellarke will happen anytime soon, as I mentioned in the old thread, I think Bellarke would probably become a couple at the very end of the series, whenever that will be.

I never liked Echo as a character but only because she was an antagonist to our guys.
Echo has been shown to be capable and extremely loyal, first to her queen, then to Roan and above all, to Azgeda. Now her allegiance lies with her new family and Bellamy. Does it irk me that she is in a relationship with Bellamy? Of course it does. But from all that they've shown us, this is a healthy loving relationship that developed over years. It has been shown that these two are equals in their partnership, who support each other, work well in synch and fight together.

Of course that hurts my bellarke heart. Of course it would be easier to dismiss this relationship if they had given us any hint that Echo is shady or insincere. But nothing could be further from the truth. Now whether there is chemistry between these two or not lies in the eyes of the beholder. Personally, I think any random bellarke eyesex or hand porn moment is more titillating than the becho sex scene but that's just me LOL

All of becho's development happened in a world where Clarke was dead. And now she isn't. Bellamy and Clarke have to talk and sort out their mutual "betrayal". To forgive each other and re-learn each other. And I can only re-iterate that I hope the writers send Jordon off to do whatever and give these two some time to talk before waking up the others.

And without making this too tropey, yes a mutual becho breakup early in s06 would be nice (ideally not over Clarke) or Bellamy and Clarke getting closer and Echo leaving Bellamy. And then they can tease us with B/C moments for the rest of the season and either make them canon, should s06 be the last or carry them to s07 with more hope than we've ever had.

I have a headcanon where bellarke have their conversation but Clarke cannot bring herself to ask about becho. Instead she asks Raven (or Murphy, now THAT would be awesome). To give us unequivocal canon confirmation of HER feelings. And Raven (or Murphy) realizing she is in love with Bellamy. And then we can watch and suffer knowing that at least of them has "confessed" her feelings. I would melt if something like that happened
