I love the “can you feel my heart beating?” gifset you posted, Kate. As I was scrolling down, I was hearing “Can You Feel My Heart?” by Bring Me the Horizon playing in my mind. Love that song.

I don’t think I’ve ever actually taken much notice of the look on Octavia’s face as Bellarke hug in 2x05. But she knows her brother and has probably known him keep people at a distance his whole life due to having to keep her a secret. And she just watches him hug Clarke like, Yeah, I see it now, big brother: You’re falling in love.

She knew from that moment on.

Hence, the importance of her “who you love” line many years later, she’s been privy to their relationship from the very start.

And it’s fun to imagine Bellarke in an AU world (somehow I’m wishing that we get to see that in the new planet but I don’t know if we will) and doing modern things, drinking coffee and talking on their phones etc.
