Yup, it's a part of their history and there's no changing that ... so it's good to see them acknowledge it. Did Kane apologise though? I don't remember that.

Yes, I think he did... as Bellamy came back to Arkadia in 4x07, Kane told him "Still no word from Octavia" and then he said after a longer break "I'm sorry"... I believe the "sorry" has not referred to "No word from Octavia", I think it has referred to the "You floated my mother" from before.

Ahh yes, the next episode.

I interpreted the apology as being related to Octavia ... instead of him saying sorry for floating Aurora, but it might be right.

That is one of my favourites and like you, I love that he repeated it back to Abby. Obviously, it was an advice which truly resonated with him.

As painful as the Bellamy/Kane convo in the Rover was, I really love that scene too. He opened himself up to Kane about Octavia and Kane tried his best to help him feel better. Probably should have steered away from the Aurora talk

but apart from that, he did good.

I like that scene too, Sarah.

But I think 4x01 scene is my soft spot. I feel like the Rover scene was simply Bellamy crumbling at that moment and despite the growth in their relationship, Bellamy went back into that history just to lash out in anger to Kane. The true anger was at himself for failing to save those people.

But 4x01 was more in tune with Kane and Bellamy's current relationship. Kane giving Bellamy the strength and courage to push forth and believe that he deserved to live.

Yes.

Kane sensed that he needed to hear those words pretty badly, and Bellamy drew strength from that for sure.
