I loved all the emotion in their scenes. Lux seems to wowed by who her mother is it's too cute.

Plus, I'm glad that Lux was not OVERLY mad that Cate gave her up. That angle is pretty tired and redundant.

yes, i liked it too. i'm sure her life was a hell but she knew it wasn't Cate's fault. she didn't know about this hole in her heart.

Yep. I'm tired of kids who are angry all the freakin' time. Bouncing around foster cares is probably why she has that attitude of "it's not that serious".

I agree. And I think on some level Lux must understand why Cate didn't keep her. Especially if Cate was told that there was a significant waiting list and it would be really easy to place the baby. Cate probably figured it was for the baby's own good to get a stable family who desperately wanted a baby... she didn't know any of the stuff about the heart condition or Lux's journey through the foster care system. How could she?
