REASONS:
Because Lux is now the one lucky person out there who now calls her mom.
Because she bought her a cell phone.
Because she spent the entire day shopping for ingredients to make Lux dinner to celebrate her first day at Westmonte.
Because Lux grew up listening to Cate.
Because Cate bought a parenting book.
Because she's sorry she's gone about "this whole mom thing" wrong.
Because she's used to people telling her what to do; she's just not used to caring enough to listen.
Because Lux knows all about Cate's cooking skills -- or lackthereof.
Because Cate too had braces when she was younger.
Because the perfect mom Lux described as a child almost perfectly fit Cate.
Because she loved Lux's hand wreath and letter to Santa.
Because she didn't 'out' her on purpose.
Because upon being given an ultimatum, Lux chose to stay with Cate.
Because she waited up till after midnight for her to come home.
Because they've shopped for handbags -- and had fun!
Because she asked Lux for dress advice.
Because she refers to Cate as her, "overly concerned, over compensating mother".
Because she crashed Lux's party.
Because she just wants to "hang" with Lux.
Because even Baze knows Lux respects her.
Because Cate knew she was "pretending to sleep so [they] don't have to talk."
Because she admitted 'maybe' she was.
Because Lux apologized.
Because they sat on the couch together, covered up with a blanket.

Can I be added, please?

This is the first mother/daughter relationship that I've found myself completely captivated by. Lux brings out the protective mother in Cate and I love that Cate wants to get to know the daughter she gave up.

Cannot wait to see more interaction between these two!!!
