The Big Dude & Little Dude Appreciation Thread # 2

The Reasons;

→ Because Bug wants Baze to approve of him.
→ Because if Bug is important to Lux, then he's important to Baze.
→ Because Bug really appreciates the chance Baze has given him.
→ Because Baze sees a lot of potential in him.
→ Because they're very much alike - minus the whole neck situation.
→ Because Baze may have hired him for the wrong reasons, but he's keeping him for the right reasons.
→ Because Bug has no problem calling Baze out when he's being a 'jackass' or if he's staring.
→ Because Bug doesn't have a dad and Baze needs to learn how to be one, so they'll lean on each other.
→ Because Baze wants to show Bug the ropes, if he wants.
→ Because they have Big Dude to Little Dude talks on the 'DL'.
→ Because Baze was concerned about Bug when his past caught up with him.
→ Because Bug doesn't want to let Baze down.
→ Because Baze won't fire or punish Bug for his past; he knows how it feels.
→ Because they're just a couple of dudes trying to change.

For this reason alone I want a season 3. I know people say that it'll be a completely different show and they should leave it where it is, but I still feel like they can do so much more.

What about Bug? What happened to him?
What about Cate? Does she want kids and thinking of adopting?
What happened to Eric? Will he ever come back to Lux once she's of age?

And the Valerie./Trey thing could not have been the only thing. Lux most likely still has really deep issues that come with repercussions for the rest of her life (aside from learning disabilities). I don't know. There's still a lot they can do and one of those things is Bug's comeback.

A huge reason for another season would be for Bug. There is a ton that they could do if they bring him back

What would you guys have liked to see if a season 3 could/would happen and Bug came back? I freaking hope they bring him back if there's a season 3. I want bug and tasha to be Lux's best friends, maybe even get Bug and Tasha together after some time. I would be extra weird but I don't know, its them! Id love to see Baze help bug get to where he needs to be too. You know the baze/sam scene from 212, I pictured bug and baze scenes playing out like that.

I really really wanted to see something happen with Bug's dad coming back and him not knowing what to do about it and going to Baze for advice

Oh yeah I definitely want to see more Bug if we get a season 3! It would be awesome to see more Bug and Baze going to each other for advice - the surrogate father/son. I think they could both help each other so much! I would also love to have Bug's dad coming back explored.

It would be great to see Bug and Lux as friends, and have Bug rejoin her "family." I've actually thought about the idea of Bug/Tasha, Cristal, and I really like it. After some time of them all being friends, I don't think it would be that weird. I mean, they certainly know each other and understand each other's issues and backgrounds. And Tasha is feisty enough not to take his crap (i.e., running away every time things get too hard). I think it would be cute...and if Lux has Jones, I just want Tasha to have someone.

Honestly, I think I would have loved to see Bug as someone else associated with the bar. Would Paige have made a move on Bug too?

Yeah, that sounds like something Paige would do. I would have loved to see Bug back at the bar! That job was so good for him. Bug, Jaime, Baze, and Paige all at Open Bar. So fun!

ANY scenario with Math and Bug would be HILARIOUS. I don't think they ever had a scene together, right?
