I also have to confess that I am talked out when it comes to V. You can only go over all the things that went wrong with this show so many times, you know.

^ that's true, lol, unfortunately. The other problem is that it's not like we have a number of seasons worth of discussion to go back and forth between. At least on some other past show boards that had like eight and ten seasons, you can switch your discussions around a bit without getting bored and then revisit topics at a later date in time.

It also would have helped if V had been a good show with some positive elements attached to it. At least then we could have squeed at the good moments over and over again and maybe more people would have stuck around in the fandom.

YES! So true. Sadly, V appears to have digressed into one huge joke/hoax played against viewers - I mean, all we have to do is look at the kind of nominations it got after the last season to confirm that. But it's very difficult when you don't have any positive elements to remember and discuss and more of that definitely would have kept some more fans around.

Yeah, I don't blame anyone for abandoning this fandom. I really don't. I would have done the same thing by now if I wasn't a mod of this board. It's a shame, but this show just didn't live up to reasonable expectations.

I sadly have to agree. I honestly have to say that as bad as things have gotten in some fandoms I was a part of, it didn't just 'die' out in the same way that V appears to have done. Our numbers are holding here, but it's only because of the dedicated posting of a few of us.

I've also noticed that there are barely any V fanarts getting posted on the internet anymore, while with other shows you still find new stuff on a daily basis years after the show has come to a close. The V fandom is pretty much dead in the water IMO.

It is pretty much dead, yes

There used to be lots of new V fanarts on tumblr everyday and now there is only like 1 fanart per week if we're lucky
