And I definitely agree with all your posts!

I love how much Erica has been there for Lisa even when when she wasn't even sure what side she was really on, I think she could see what a great person she is and that she wasn't cold like Anna. And Lisa gets to have the Mother figure and genuine love that she never got to have.

Yeah, I think the Erica/Lisa dynamic should be interesting. Because as Lisa is developing emotion, I think she's going to experience a whole different type of 'mothering' that Lisa didn't experience under Anna and her influence. Lisa will come to see why it is that Erica is fighting so hard for Tyler and how emotionally bonding human mothering really is.

Agreed. I'm just hoping that Erica/Lisa will be the real deal. I would be lying if I didn't say that one of my worries is that the writers could mainly be building Erica/Lisa up only to make it all the more shocking for the audience when Erica ultimately decides to use Lisa for her own ends. That would truly suck IMO.

Maybe it will turn out that I am worrying for no reason at all. Erica deciding to use Lisa for her own ends may make for a very obvious Anna parallel, but then there are certain other very obvious and logical Erica/Anna parallels that don't seem to be happening either (cough*interspecies romance*cough) so maybe Erica and Lisa will really simply form a mother/daughter kind of a relationship and plot to take down Anna together.

Yeah, that would be an awful arc for Erica's character. I hope it never goes there. She's already going to be at odds with her own child, Tyler, and minus that *cough*interspecies romance*cough* - Erica's going to come across completely heartless with no balance when dealing with the V's that are tying to work alongside humanity and those who are working with Anna and her evil plans for the human race.

I know. It would be absolutely awful, but with Lisa/Erica already developing a bond this early on I can't shake the feeling that it isn't going to last and will eventually take a turn for the worse. I hope I am wrong because I would really hate to be right.

I was also thinking that we could eventually see a scenario play out where both Tyler and Lisa come to the realization that they have been used by their surrogate mothers and that makes them gravitate back to their real mothers. If that's the case Tyler might not be lost forever to the Vs after all.
