I didn't even know about that book.

So the books is all about the actors, or does it have more stuff about the story of the musical?

Mainly about the story of the musical. Has a lot from Michael Mayer & Steven Sater ... how they came about it, etc. It's interesting to read how it all happened ... the whole staging of the production and everything! Considering I LOVE musical theatre - it's wonderful!

The producer (Ira Pittleman) talks about the concert and how he was "totally disorientated for the first half or so" ... he then goes on to say "Then Lea Michele started to sing, "Oh, I'm gonna be wounded," and it was like a bolt of lightning." Talking about how that hit home with him, etc.

The actors talk about the characters and how they interpret them, and how they feel being them mainly ... but also about them being cast, etc!

It's definitely a good read and a beautiful book!

I found a site will tons of stills from the Off-Broadway run on it also just tons of pictures of the cast in general

In other news, I just realized that during the Spring Awakening tour that starts this fall there's a production that will only be about 3 hours away from me!

I'm incredibly tempted to go!
