Possible Board Closure Discussion: Please Read and Respond!

Cynergy and I have been discussing this, and we think that it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 12 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. We would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. We'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.*

For us it is a hard decision we both still love Selena and support her work but it is hard to mod a board when it is just two people posting , the one great thing about this board is we love posting with each other and although it is fun its not enough for a board to stay open

Thank you for opening the discussion Petra :hug: whilst we enjoy eachother's company on this board, I do think we need more than just the two of us posting on here.

It is but i feel right now I've been in this position of closing this board twice before for lack of post , ive mod this board for.5 years to my first mod.postion and well now i have an amazing co mod its just us two posting so it's just not enough

My board has it's slow moments so I definitely know that feeling.

Oh no :hug: it is hard at times I had one board have a complete turn around once we had my co mod leave now its better than ever which is nice .. I feel with certain boards we do have fans on ff it just people don't have time to post on each and every board

Yeah I used to post on a lot different threads back in the day, now even the MST job is tough.

^ I can only imagine just how hard of a time being a mst is :eek: I think this board has run it's course and it's time to close :no:

I was MST here for 3 months a couple of years ago and even then it was slow. Petra...you are amazing!
