 you need to pick the right cat that can win your mum over 'as a kid my mother didnt like cats , dogs she felt it was more of a hassle and she had us kids to worry about .. we had had a million cats some strays that we owned but my mother didnt grow attach to them cause she only wanted a cat for our mouse problem , we also were very uneducated about pet ownership so we didnt treat them 100% right or desex the girl we had so we kind of gave her away ( one of the hoorrible days didnt enjoy that my mother did that ) but than we got a dog for my 16th bday ive alwasy wanted one and well he was a handful a big playful puppy ruined everything my mother scared the **** out of him and he was scared of her but after a frw months she sofen a lot and fell in love with him and now they are so close same with my other girl dog that we got 2 years after him adn the 2 cats afterwards his the one that changed us and want us to become better pet owners cause we really werent before we were hoirrble every person can find the right animal for themselve you just have to look for it __________________

Thank you for the advice Petra, I think I really have to find the right one for us. Her biggest concern with owning a cat is that they'll ruin her couches but I did say I'll keep them out of the lounge
