I just finished watching RENT the movie. Gonna watch RENT Live! but probably not live.

The original cast are like in their 40’s & 50’s now. They’d be too old now.

RENT live was a bit mess bc the actor who plays Roger got injured so some of the parts were pre-recorded

so they showed the pre-recorded (dress rehearsal the day before the show) version on TV, until the final. Very dissapointing, all the hardwork..

Yeah, I’ve been seeing about it and seeing tweets and reading reviews. It seems like people think FOX should have just aired the concert performance they were doing for the studio audience. Or, hire understudies for these kind of situations.

I’ll probably watch the majority of it and some of the major scenes (especially the finale), but I don’t think I’m gonna end up watching the whole thing...

Her playing Maureen was so much better than her playing Mimi in 2010
