Demi Lovato - Board (Re)Customization

Hi everyone ,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website. As we want every board to have their own unique look it is preferable that you do not link to the customisations of other boards as suggested colour schemes.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us .

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customisation process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to send Mel, Chelle, or Rora a PM or ask the Team on the message board customisation thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes approximately two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have finished making the graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

I didn't think it would be up for recustom this soon since the last one was pretty recent (right before the board closed

) but it's good news

It actually made no difference as this board would have been done around now even if it hadn't been closed, however we are treating it as a new board & it was next on the list.

earthy tone blue/brownish

If you want a smiling picture I think your best option is the Fabletics shoots. The 2017 shoots look more usable than the 2018 ones looking at all of them. Either Fabletics one should be fine though

For your colours I really want to question your screen

. The first two look green to me, not blue. Your third choice is definitely green & not blue. What you called blue is grey. Your light purple & yellow is also grey & yellow. The last two are brown though so that colour is showing the same for us both

for me the first two are shades of blue with a color that is blue canard or water green, which can be said blue or green depending on how you see it, i always go to say blue but it can also appear green for other

third i agree is more green and grey then blue (might have been tired last night)
purple/yellow, i see the last two color as very light blueish tone that goes on purple and not grey

but this might be my eyes not seeing the same color lol!

The second is aqua/teal so I guess it can be seen as blue, but the other one will result in green. I think its your end as I'm pretty sure other team members are seeing the same as me. Knowing how you feel about green is why I want to mention it as I don't think the board will turn out the way you're thinking. But if you're already seeing it as blue maybe it still will show up that way

I don't know why you're seeing blue or purple though as they are grey. I can double check in photoshop but I know the one you just called blue is one of the grey colour schemes

Anyway, what sort of colours would everyone like to see here? Or even Eme since you suggested a few different things, did any of them stand out as a main love for you? Once you know what sort of colours you'd like then you can start narrowing down colour schemes

There's nothing saying you have to change. We can base the new graphic on the colours you have now so you'll have something similar

Have you had a look at the design seeds website to see if there's anything which you like? Maybe you can see something similar to what you liked from Eme's suggestions & what you've got now on there to combine the two?

. What are you thinking with those colours? Mainly blue/purple for the board? Mainly orange/red? Something else?
