S H A T T E R E D B A S S #421 d i s c u s s i o n JACK BASS (GUEST STAR DESMOND HARRINGTON) RETURNS TO THE UPPER EAST SIDE - Charlie (guest star Kaylee DeFer) is finally starting to feel less like a fish-out-of-water with Serena (Blake Lively) and her friends, but complications present themselves when Charlie is invited to attend the Constance Billard alumni fundraiser. On the road to "happily ever after," Blair (Leighton Meester) finds herself torn between the men in her life. Jack Bass' (guest star Desmond Harrington) return to the Upper East Side sets off a chain of events that could end up destroying Chuck (Ed Westwick) and those closest to him. Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. Allison Liddi-Brown directed the episode written by Sara Goodman (#421). Charlie is... I just have no words. She's a crazy nut. "You can call me Serena." WTF?
 And Dan is just like, "get changed and meet me outside"  . This SL is so predictable and stupid that I have to laugh at it. I don't give a crap about the Russell/Raina/Chuck/Nate/Jack Bass etc. mess. The whole plotline is boring. At least Jack Bass is hot  (the guy is an ass but he looks good at least ). CB and Chuck are still dead to me. It's GG so I expected this, but I'm annoyed by the fact that Chuck doesn't even apologize to Blair for last episode and the first thing he says to her is that she came to her senses and she has no clue what he's been through. WTF? I'm rooting for Blair/Louis, even though I know it'll be all for nothing at the end. The only things I truly enjoyed were seeing Kati and Is again, as well as Constance Billard. And as much as I hated Charlie wearing Serena's cotillion dress it was nice to see it come back too and have that and the pool thing from season 1 mentioned. Brought back a lot of memories of the show I used to really love, which made me both happy and sad. I miss season 1; GG what happened to you?  __________________

Don't bother. It was horrible. I'm gonna watch the finale simply because I'm going to "finish"t this season out and then I'll officially close the door on GG.
The DS S1 stuff was cute, but I hated how it was warped for Crazy Charlie. Why is she going to be a series regular again?! GAH. __________________

yeah, WHAT. Why are they making charlie a regular? I'm assuming they need a new "villian" now with vanessa and jenny gone.
I'm legit shocked they are actually getting rid of vanessa though! blair covering up her face was so disgusting to me. like, the show is totally condoning abuse. UGH. I still have a TINY BIT of hope left for DB, but I wouldnt be at all surprised if they were done for good. |
