SERENA IS SUSPICIOUS OF DAN AND BLAIR - Serena (Blake Lively) enlists Charlie (guest star Kaylee DeFer) to go undercover Gossip Girl-style to determine why Dan (Penn Badgley) and Blair (Leighton Meester) are spending so much time together, and what role an unexpected visitor is playing in their lives. With Nate's (Chace Crawford) help, Raina (guest star Tika Sumpter) decides to go on a search for her long-lost mother. Chuck's (Ed Westwick) hopes about his legacy are dashed with the reveal of devastating information from the past. Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. Liz Friedlander directed the episode written by Amanda Lasher (#419).

DB really is the only thing interesting about the show anymore and I have no idea what they're doing with them. Charlie annoys me to death. The actress plays her in ~weird manner that comes off as highly unlikeable. I hated that I had to see her in the scenes that I watched.

Other than that! It sucked!

This episode sucked. DB was the only thing I liked about it and I have no clue what they're doing with them either. If this were any other show, I'd like to think they're building them up now so that next season they'll explore them more. But this is GG and it sounds to me like DB are just something the writers are playing around with before going back to the CB/Louis triangle and forgetting DB had anything at all. I want to be wrong so much because DB is the only good thing this show has right now and they've gone further with them than I thought they would in the beginning and now it's gotten to the point where they need to explore DB more and not drop it but again, this is GG and this is what they do with the good things they have on their show. It's truly a shame. I just hope DB will still have friendship scenes after all of this.

Charlie is beginning to rank up there with Vanessa on my most hated characters list. She is really annoying and needs to stay away from Dan. I also agree that her acting is not that good.

The focus on Lily is boring

. And Nate was once again useless.

Finally a Jenny mention

! And I loved Dan telling Vanessa off and saying they were no longer friends anymore. I've been waiting four seasons for him to do that. I'd love it so much if it stuck and they never talked again.

It wasn't anything big. It was just in passing. Dan mentioned to Charlie how that room used to be his sister's.

The episodes are always the same this season. Like, nothing ever changes. They are so damn boring other than the DB interaction that we get. Man, this show really has gone downhill.

I actually found the episode pretty good except for the Nate\Chuck\Rain SL

Lily amused me when she made everyone get the boot.

yes it was! It should be again.

DB SL was obviously the most interesting

I didn't mind the ep.. it's the first one I've watched in full since Easy J though

(well aside from 4x09 and 4x10, just caught up on those recently)..

Or maybe it was just Dair I liked..

I LOVE them.

Chuck/ Nate/ Raina..

And I zoned out with the Serena/Charlie/ Rufus/ Lily stuff except where it concerned Dair

I liked Lily kicking everyone out too

It's absolutely bizarre to me how Dair can be written so well when the rest of the show is a trainwreck
