Continued Discussion of TOW The Homestudy (10x07)

Monica and Chandler fuss over their apartment as they expect a visit from the adoption worker (guest star Maria Pitillo) who will decide if they will make suitable parents -- unfortunately, she horrifies the uptight couple when she confesses that she was once romanced by a cad named Joey in the same building who never returned her calls. Meanwhile, Phoebe and Mike (guest star Paul Rudd) opt for a small wedding and donate the extra money to a children's charity -- only to demand it all back. Elsewhere, Ross uses baby Emma to confront Rachel's irrational fear of swingsets.

THAT was funny. Ross getting hit with the swing, not once but TWICE? Physical comedy is so funny. Emma was ADORABLE laughing on the swing. The rest... eh.

Joey's speech to the social worker was good.

Yeah, David Schwimmer (sp?) is a pro at physical comedy. I loved the whole irrational fear resolution - making Ross hold a spider, and having Rachel get on the swing . Oh, and that little cutie they've got playing Emma is just supremely adorable .

Emma is sooo cute. The swing stuff was funny.
Phoebe's teenage homeless years can be a show in itself. She was a mugger, lived w/ strange street people, etc...
I liked when Joey switched it on Laura, and she fell for it.

this was one of the worst episodes this season. i barely laughed, and most of the stuff was stupid! ross and rachel's storyline was HORRIBLE! oh god, i just was not amused @ all with the spider/swing thing. i like phoebe/mike and it was cute having them talk abou their wedding, but.... it wasnt funny. the monica/chandler trying-really-hard-to-get-a-baby thing was cute, but, again, it wasn't necessarily funny, and i like watching Friends because i expect something funny to laugh at, but.... well that didnt really happen this week ugh, mebbe im just bitter that the shows ending soon, who knows

LOVED this episode with R/R/E.

Loved the Ross/Rachel/Emma interaction. Emma laughing and smiling on the swing. Rachel trying to convince us of how "evil" swings are. Ross defending swings as he gets smacked twice in the head! SOOOO FUNNY!
Ross and his fear of spiders... David is a genius at physical comedy. There is no better.

The C/M adoption stuff was not that funny even with Joey trying to calm things with the social worker. Although, it was sweet whenever C/M found out that she gave a good report.

The Phoebe/Mike stuff was not that funny either. Although I loved Phoebe as she was explaining to Mike how her friend shot that guy that was bugging her. That was funny stuff.

Oh yes, the R/R/E stuff rocked!

I love this episode. I was hoping to get it on DVD within the next couple of weeks, but my WB's schedule is all messed up, so I have no idea when it'll air.

R/R storyline was so funny. And Joey telling that girl all those things about her hurting his feelings... just HILARIOUS.
