Friends - Season Two Appreciation - "You're over me? When were you...under me?"

The Season One Appreciation thread is doing great, so I thought that we should continue the trend and have a Season Two Appreciation thread that will hopefully be just as popular.

Remember when Ross drank breast milk? Joey and Chandler leaving Ben on a city bus? What about the famous episode, TOW The Prom Video where we got to witness Rachel and Monica's high school days firsthand (not to mention that incredible moment at the end between Rachel and Ross)?

And what about Julie? and Susie Moss? and Richard? and Eddie? And who could forget Janice returning once again in the finale?

What was your favorite episode? Who was your favorite character? Did you find this season even more enjoyable than the first?

Season Two was a new beginning, so let's reminisce!

There are so many things I love about season 2.

It was so hilarious when Phoebe cuts Monica's hair and its a disaster.

The baby on the bus is really funny, trust Joey and Chandler to lose the baby and then get him mixed up with another baby.

This season is really when Ross and Rachel reveal how they feel about each other and finally get together...awwww. Everything from when Rachel drunkenly reveals her love for Ross on the phone to the list which breaks them up once more.

As for Eddie....

he was so funny. Especially when he turns up at the coffee shop and Chandler says: Theres Eddie holding a human head!!

Oh man theres so much good stuff in season 2 I don't know where to begin.

One of my fave scenes is The one with the chicken pox, where phoebe unveils her spotty face and theres thunder and lightening and Charlie Sheen screams in terror...he he he

Oh, Season 2 is my favourite season! It's so funny, and I love all the R/R stuff. Plus, it holds the funniest scene ever (for me, anyway): Monica dancing in the diner. That makes me cry tears of laughter every time.

Season 2 is just great in almost every way. My favourite episode is probably TOW The Two Parties... I just loved the whole thing between the parties, especially when Phoebe tries to sneak people out.

I liked Richard, although Chandler is SO much better for Monica, and Julie was sweet in the first half, although of course Rachel is the one for Ross. (All IMO, of course, is this...) The only slightly annoying thing about the season was Eddie- couldn't stand him. And not in a good way.

But my favourite season, and worthy of lots of appreciation!

Yeah, Season 2 was really a classic. It was probably the best written season in Friends history. I'm always changing my mind about my favorite season depending on my mood, but there's never any doubt in my mind that Season 2 was the cream of the crop.

I will never forget Rachel and Ross' first kiss. It's definitely the most romantic moment that this show has ever had (and there have been many).

This is my favorite season because it so just so dang funny! There is not one episode in the whole season that I don't like.

Friends is my favorite show! i love season 2, it's one of my favorites. mostly because ross and rachel first get together. My favorite episode is probably the one with barry and mindy's wedding. i love when rachel sings "Copacabana" in the pink dress.

Oh, I completely agree. This kiss sent chills down my spine. I was literally on an emotional high right then and there whenever they first kissed. I remember cheering really loudly and high fiving my sister as we were watching it transpire. Just priceless.

And TOW The Prom Video.. Simply my favorite episode ever. I cry each and every time I watch Ross on that video tape as he is getting ready to go down and ask Rachel to go with him to the prom and he is completely devastated whenever he sees that her date arrives and he missed his shot at asking her. I don't care how many times I have seen this scene, I

every single time.

And then whenever Rachel gets up after viewing this on the video tape, as she walks over to Ross at the door and completely plants an intense and romantic kiss on him.

Oh, I just love it!

And Phoebe and the Lobster bit was just priceless. I love the foreshadowing here. Phoebe always knew that Ross and Rachel were meant to be right from the start. Hence the Lobster explanation.. And who is the one to help Ross in the series finale reunite with Rachel for good? That would be Phoebe.

I definitely agree. Rachel and Ross were a big part of Season 2 and their relationship defined that year.

Can that pic of Ross and Rachel BE any cuter?

. They look so freaking adorable in that pic! I love how Rachel has her arms wrapped tightly around him and I also love how Ross has his hand placed on Rachel's leg. Awww.. Too cute! I mean, Ross is obviously stunned, with happiness I might add.. hee, because he just heard that Rachel has feelings for him, as well as Rachel being hysterical because she is trying to stop him from hearing her message... But I just love how they still "find a way" to touch each other and be cute as hell doing it.

I also love TOW Ross' New Girlfriend. I think it's such a classic. Who could forget "Isn't that just kick-you-in-the crotch, spit-on-your-neck fantastic?"
