In that scene, I love that Rachel wanted Ross to stay with her for a little while longer (Even though she had something in mind )

I love that this is slowed down.

I think that kiss sparked feelings in Rachel that she hadn't had for Ross in a while, even if she was anxious at the same time. It had been a while since she and Ross shared anything besides sex at that point. I think it had been, maybe, four or five months since those bad episodes (if you know what I mean) that signaled Ross or Rachel still had feelings for the other.

I think it was a good way somewhat to build up to Rachel's going off to Paris and Ross running after her. He said sex was off the table in that episode, but he was only kidding himself.
