I think there were some continuity issues there - like how they spent two Thanksgivings together, kissed at that party & then met in the bar in that flashback episode in s3 & met again in the pilot

I do agree that there were definitely continuity errors throughout the series, the biggest being with Rachel and Chandler.

Maybe they repressed it from their memories for the sake of the loves of their lives. I mean, would you want to remember that? Or would you want your significant other to find out. Rachel probably legitimately forgot, but Chandler felt too embarrassed.

Chandler's thought when Rachel passed out: "Holy ****, I killed her. Ross is going to kill me."

But that's true for a lot of shows. So much going on that continuity mistakes are practically inevitable.

That was a good scene. I also liked their brief hug in the episode with Rachel's two birthday parties.
