That's why they deserved more scenes than what they got. They had these moments where you could tell Chandler really cared about Rachel's happiness.

Another example is in Season 2 when she's talking to him in the hall about how sad she is that her parents are getting divorced. He hugs her, then passes her to Ross :love:

I think the Mondler relationship happening had a lot to do with the lack of Chandler/Rachel alone-time after Season 4.
