so, I read up on it to check and in the spin-off Joey says all his friends are married and starting families and since Chandler/Monica and Phoebe/Mike were already married, that would leave Ross/Rachel.

so probably.

just finished re-watching the series finale and cried again watching the “I got off the plane” scene

also they played the same music as in their first official kiss

not emotional or anything 😭

re-watching the series again all the way through for the first time in almost 4 years (which was my first watch-through) I really got invested in this ship and the angst, longing, heartache

Rewatching Friends. And have a few found appreciation of Ross and Rachel. Got an unfair reputation of being a toxic relationship. Maybe 1-3. But their relationship really matured. I’m at S4 right now. A lot of points I think justifies them being endgame.

In S1. Rachel told Ross of her feelings. When he was dating Julie. You could argue was selfish. In S3, when Ross was dating Bonnie. Rachel sabotaged their relationship. By you know convincing her to shave her head lol.

Contrast that to S4. Where Ross and Rachel started to become a more mutually supportive relationship. Tow with Fake Party. When Rachel encouraged Ross to pursue Emily. Then again at their wedding. She refraned from telling Ross how she felt.

I guess my point is I think ppl gloss over the facts. Ross and Rachel evolved into a mutually supportive relationship through out the series. They are each other’s lobsters.
