First of all Friends teleplays wer extreemly excrutiating to the mark, any thoughts of added indirection from marta crane screenplay ( example would be lisa sining to bagpipes) is extreemly untrue. In fact any thing an actor might add would need to be re writtwn and confirmed over 5 times at least.
It is the most writer controlled tv show in history ( think ablided think again) yes they can or could adlib but script would be re written, writer credits always one source said another said simply obsession.

So now we have the whys , but now we get to the why nots and this is were you really get to see david crane And marta a large lady that well hard time at school

So we have two dreams here one a gay writer crane and one marta large girl close to man hater

So you mix the two what do you get both of thier realities flipped

In the real world joey ( and marta really got a kick out of it i bet getting back at jocks at school even making him tv star on days of our

lives)

But marta and crane would have to compromise well if your getti g the geek getting the hot girl then i want my own fake reality too ross completly fine with his wife becoming a lesbian and having a kid and while im add it chandlerswn up by a geek i get some gay marriage in there plus chandlers dad

It takes screenwriting process knowledge to know what iv explained ( messages on google like why didnt joey or phoebe hook up .at least. Crane gave phoebe mike.
