Continued Comments on TOW Joey Speaks French (10x13)

Monica and Chandler show a visiting Erica (guest star Anna Faris) New York's sights but also learn more about her -- and that the baby's biological father might be a shovel killer -- while Ross and Rachel grow closer after her sarcastic father (guest star Ron Leibman) suffers a heart attack. Elsewhere, Joey implores francophile Phoebe to teach him French before an important audition but when he can't even put an accent on his gibberish, he has her begging for "Merci."

I'm looking forward to tonight's episode

It's bringing us a step closer toward the Ross/Rachel ending that I think most people can't wait to see

Unfortunately I missed the teaser scene (I don't know how that happened), but I enjoyed every bit of the two acts! This was one of the best episodes of the season-and SO funny! I think that they're really putting their all into these final episodes, which is so nice to see.

I missed the teaser scene too cuz it came on at 7:27 instead of 7:30 (I hate it when they do that). So I had to watch the teaser scene when it comes on at 8:00 on NBC.

Chandler was so funny getting all freaked out that the baby may grow up to kill his father, just like his suspected biological father.

It's about time they wrap up on the Ross/Rachel thing. I hope they end it nicely.

Hi Vada!

I loved the episode too. I agree, it was probably the best of the season. Though I thought Joey's plot was pretty boring. I did love Phoebe, though. "I am Regine Fallangine", that was so funny!

I especially loved Ross and Rachel's scene in her room. It felt so natural, and I wasn't expecting what happened. And I loved Chandler

Chandler was sooo funny. Phoebe speaking french sounded so pretty. I liked the part when Rachel said that her and Ross were never off the table I hope they end up together.

I'm also happy about the "new beginning" of Ross and Rachel. It's about time and I loved the end where they looked into each others eyes.

I was glad that Regina Philange (spelling ?) was back. It sounded funny in French and Joey sounded really cute too although it was wrong.

But for me it wasn't one of the best episodes. I hope better ones will come in the future.

Anything Rossa and Rachel cetric is good, unless it's a breakup or whatever. But this wasn t a breakup, so it was certainly good I imagine, haven;'t seen it yet.

While I really, really enjoyed seeing Ross and Rachel's sexual tension back , I was slightly disappointed at the episode. Especially because Joey's storyline was so,so boring and even embarassing to watch. At least Regina Philange made an appearance.

Was there a preview for next week's episode?

I liked the part when Monica said she wanted the baby to come out all "fat and cute" and when Erica wanted the baby's name to be Jimini Billy Bob

I didn't have a chance to see this one the first time around, but I really don't feel like I missed much.

Joey and Phoebe -- wow, that was SUCH a filler storyline! I have really hard time believing that Joey wouldn't show any improvement.

Monica and Chandler -- it was so sweet to see Monica and Chandler with Erica and THE BABY as Monica was so quick to point out. I did laugh out loud when Chandler came in as the greatest fan of New York. That foam Statue of Liberty hat thing was fantastic! It took a strange detour with the whole Shovel Killer thing, but it got back on track quick enough. I wish we could have seen more of Monica and Chandler taking Erica around the city.

Ross and Rachel -- Yup, it seems that a reunion is imminent. I find it hard to believe that Ross would be the only one to volunteer to go with Rachel to the hospital, but if everyone was there, I guess we wouldn't have the R&R-centric episode.

Overall, I felt eh about the whole thing.

In my opinion this episode is one of the worst in this season. I cant bear to watch it. The only funny thing is the tag scene with the bottle of milk (I'm shocked no one mentioned it) and the whole Chandler/Monica/Erica storyline. The Ross-Rachel thing wasn't good nor funny -- it was just put in to put them a litlte closer together -- and the Joey speaking French ws a disaster. Season 9 or 3 worthy... anyway...
