Cozy Central Perk. The couch had to be recovered in season one after network execs complained that it was too shabby!

Greg and his team are always adding new products to the Central Perk display case.

Sometimes show extras utilize the Central Perk books.

Greg and an artist came up with the coffee logos, then one of Greg's guys wrote the lingo!

This weathered couch was unearthed in the Warner Bros. prop house. The art above it is rotated every two or three shows.

Just one of the many quirky Central Perk pieces.

This black and gold chair is one of the few new additions to the coffee house this season.

Greg's team must also "dress" the Central Perk exterior.

The concert posters are real, and are shipped in from New York every few weeks.

One of the great Central Perk moments, that comes to mind, is in TOW The Ultimate Fighting Champion. When Robin Williams & Billy Crystal come into the coffehouse and squish themselves into the couch, with the gang. Monica is attempting to tell them what happened with Pete's big news, but is interrupted by Robin & Billy (well, their characters) ...

Robin: What's wrong with me?

Billy: What's the matter?

Robin: I have a feelin' ... my wife is sleeping with her gynecologist.

Billy: How do you know?

Robin: Well, y'know, he's got access.

Billy: Yeah.

Robin: Y'know, it's that feeling you get?

Billy: Like when you go bowling and you know you're in somebody else's shoes?

Robin: That's the one ... why is this happening to me? I don't know, maybe it's my wound.

Billy: So it's not healed yet?

Robin: No, it's ooozing.

Billy: This is gonna be hard, but I wanted it to come from me, and nobody else.

Robin: What is it?

Billy: It's me, I've been sleeping with your wife.

Joey: So you're the gynecologist?

Billy: Hey, I'm trying to have a private conversation! Is that okay?

Robin: (Starting to cry) (To Rachel) Can I have a napkin, please? (Rachel tries to grab one, but is to slow for him) Would you - give me this thing! (Grabs the napkin holder from her) (To Billy) And you are no longer my friend! We are finished! (Gets up to leave) You are a bastard for doing this! (Billy follows him out) Get away from me!

Billy: Come back here! (They both exit.)

[cut to the gang, who are all dumbfounded]

Phoebe: So Monica, what were you gonna tell us?

Monica: I have no idea.

Here's a random thought I had which would be perfect for a "Central Perk moment":

Why do people call Cheetos 'Cheetos'?
I mean, I know they're cheesy and all,
but their mascot really looks more like a leopard to me...
and if it looks like a leopard they shouldn't try to make people think it's a cheetah.
Now, they COULD call it 'Leotos'...
but then they couldn't use cheese on them...
What's a food with 'Leo' or something similar in it?
...Lemons...
