I'm pretty excited about tonight episode, too, especially after reading Joel's interview where he said this is a very interesting and emotional chapter.
BTW, shouldn't we get a second sneak peek for tonight? Or it's normal that they released only once? Right now I can't remember if we always got at least 2 for the previous episodes. __________________

ABC has just released 8 new sneak peeks for Thursday night's episode of Flash Forward so I'm thinking we really won't get another one for this week's episode of V.

Better late than never?
Thanks for the clips! Of course, I have no self-control and I'm going to check them even if only I'm less than 12 hours away from watching the whole episode in the morning. __________________

Ok, before I write my comments I wanted to ask: are you guys taking John May's death as definitive or it's possible he didn't die and they're keeping the reveal for some moment in the future..?

I'm thinking they're keeping the reveal for a future episode. If he's really dead then I have to say it's lame that they didn't show us a body or how he died.

Michael Trucco is extremely in demand right now. He's currently playing a love interest for the female lead in Castle and the producers have an option to bring his character back in the fall. I think if John May was ever going to be a force in the present time story it wouldn't happen prior to season 3 and if there isn't some kind of miracle, the show won't get that far. I don't even think that it's going to see a season 2. It just keeps bleeding viewers with no end in sight.

The ratings are a depressing topic. Especially the key demo. They keep getting lower, even if the drop in ep. 7 wasn't as big as in episode 6, but if the trend continues I don't see much hope.
To be fair, V had/has a lot of potential that they aren't properly using, and the last 3 episodes showed improvement but many flaws, too. Anyway, back on the John May topic. You're right that the storyline could be in the plans for a future pretty far away (like S3), but would they risk casting a somehow popular actor for the role, and then have to hope he isn't already involved in another series 2 years from now if they want to give him a prominent role in the show? Liz killed the emotional confrontation with Tyler. But Tyler... just doesn't work. I don't know if it's the acting or something else. The way the handled things with him, Joe and Lisa wasn't too thrilling, either. I'm going to miss Georgie, but I must say his death was done well. I just found a bit weird that Joshua had no idea that the man had been taken and was being tortured, considering the position of trust he is in on the ship. __________________
