Me too! I go all out, even try to delay the day I have to take down the decorations and put the tree away.

The best is the years when we get snow around Christmas day - I know many can't stand it, but I'm a sucker for snow, too.

I know. There is an old shop in my town that kept the same Christmas lights up for two years straight, winter and summer. Not sure whether a case of extreme love for Christmas or hardcore laziness.

Does that mean that if you get snow this holidays season you'll send it my way?

Haha! One of my mom's friends kept up her decorations year-round. She didn't turn them on during the off season, but she didn't want to take them down and put them back up.

It sure saves people from a lot of hassle - I, at least, always fight a bit with decorations - so I can see the pragmatism in that.

Thank you! If possible, I'd love to have some for Christmas' Eve. Childhood fixations and all that jazz.

It kind of looked silly. People laughed because had lights on her house. I understand, though. It's a pain to take them down.

We had pre-Thanksgiving snow which was unusual.
