In this epic adventure from J.J. Thanks for the ratings skje. Revolution is off to a great start, but as we have seen from shows like V, FlashForward, The Event etc., it's the weeks after the premiere that truly count. I expect it to drop, especially when Castle and H50 return with fresh episodes, but the show should be fine if it doesn't drop below a 2,0.

The premiere got truly awesome ratings. I would say we have to wait until episode 3-4 to have a full idea of how consistent its audience is going to be, though.
I wanted to post some thoughts about the episode here, too (I only wrote a bit in the spoiler thread when the pilot made its way online) but I'll wait until I've seen it a second time to be fairer in my comments. __________________

Basically, I knew everything that would happen in this first episode, because I watched the promotional video and it revealed the whole thing. But I still liked it. Or maybe I liked it because I watched the first 4 episodes in a row.
I knew the final scene would be Grace using the computer to communicate with someone else revealing the electricity still exists. But even knowing it, I thought it was a very cool way to end the episode. I don't know if it was intentional, but it's a nice LOST reference. The AC/DC t-shirt was intentional. Bass and his tattoo get me curious because it exists before the militia and the soldier saw the tattoo and let him go. Or maybe I'm thinking too much about it. __________________
