Ok, I just checked out the series premiere of Feud and as a fan of Catherine Zeta-Jones, I couldn't help feeling somewhat disappointed. When I heard that she was going to do this tv show, I really thought she would at least be a co-lead, but instead it looks like she only has a small supporting role. Obviously, she's not going to be THE star of this project, but she better have more than 3 minutes of screentime in future episodes.

It looks like an intriguing show.
I hope Catherine Zeta-Jones has more screen time too. I like her.

It's still too early to tell how the show will turn out, but it's definitely worth checking out for the amazing cast (Jessica Lange, Susan Sarandon, Zeta, Kathy Bates, etc.) alone.

What are some of your favourite Zeta-Jones movies/roles, if you don't mind me asking?

They are great actresses!

I first saw Catherine in the tv series The Darling Buds Of May. I've seen her in the movies Chicago, The Terminal and Dad's Army. It's hard to say which role is my favourite one, I always enjoy her performance.

I have never seen that show. I really liked Catherine in Ocean's 12, Chicago and the Zorro movies (amongst other things), but I agree - it's hard to pick a favourite role because she always delivers a good performance.

In other news, I really wish Sweden would send this song to Eurovision, but they will probably choose another generic pop song in the end:

Catherine was so good in The Terminal that I forgot it was her.

That song's a bit slow for me but the singing is very good.

Julie, I think this year's contest will be a chore to watch for you. I don't know many of the songs, but from what I've heard, there will be a lot of ballads. The only uptempo songs I know of are Italy, Israel, Serbia, France, Greece, Germany (but our song is so bad it doesn't matter) and I think Latvia.

It probably will be a chore.

I just read about the Dusseldorf axe attack.

Are you following Formula 1 off-season testing, Julie? By the looks of things, McLaren-Honda are headed for another disasterous season. Makes me glad that Jenson won't have to deal with that **** show anymore.

I heard about the McLaren problems. It's great that Jenson Button won't be involved in that.

I never understood why McLaren went all-in on Honda to begin with. They were successful in the 80's and early 90's, but all their comeback attempts (first as engine supplier and then with their own team) failed. It's obvious they were out of Formula 1 for too long and the sport has passed them by. They should stick to MotoGP. That's what they're really good at.

It's hard to understand.

I have caught up with Colony. It's progressing well.

I'm glad to hear that. I watched the latest episode of Homeland today. I saw the ending coming from a mile away, but it still broke my heart into a thousand tiny little pieces.

You should. The main character Carrie will drive you bonkers at times (especially in the early seasons), but the acting is brilliant and the writing is incredibly smart. Here's a short synopsis:

Quote:
Carrie Mathison, a CIA operations officer, is on probation after carrying out an unauthorized operation in Iraq. As a result, she has been reassigned to the Counter terrorism center. Whilst in Iraq, she was warned that an American prisoner had been turned by Al-Qaeda. When Nicholas Brody, a U.S. Marine Sergeant, is rescued after being held hostage since 2003, she suspects that he is the one. While Brody is received home as a war hero, Carrie goes to any lengths necessary to catch him out.
