I haven't been following too well the Bill Cosby case, but I've read headlines and comments about it for years, so I'm surprised it took so long for the whole thing to blow up as it has now.

And it sucks that you had the episode spoiled after being so careful to avoid info of any kind, Alex. Twitter is probably the worst on that front because of how instantaneously everything pops up on there.

Have you guys been getting ready for Christmas? I haven't bought one single present yet - I'm going to be so screwed if I don't hurry up.

It's hard to come up with suggestions for presents if you don't know the person it's meant for, but if all else fails, you can always buy them a gift certificate for concert tickets, the movie theater or some store they love to shop at.

I understand what you mean, it is impossible to shop for my Dad because he has very particular tastes, isn't particularly sentimental but also isn't a big consumer so he doesn't ever really want anything. Every year I struggle with what to get him. The rest of my family are much easier, luckily.
