Yeah, it sure did. OUAT isn't the show I wanted to see Liz on, but I'm happy for the fans that it worked out.

And work is work. I might pass watching this time, though.
I wonder how many episodes she'll be in.

I may be inclined to do the same. It would be interesting to see Elizabeth play a real villain for a change, but the character description (“possibly malevolent”) gives me the feeling that this role may ultimately go down the same path as Juliet and Rachel (enigmatic character with questionable motives but is ultimately revealed as a good guy who's doing the things she does for the greater good). I would like to be wrong though.

I read somewhere that Georgina Haig (Elsa) is signed on for 9 episodes. I would assume that Elizabeth will be in a similar number of episodes.

Her playing a different type of character would help, but to be completely honest even if she were a bonafide villain, the thought of half a season or more of OUAT is just bringing me down, especially after having to make an effort just to keep watching and finishing Revolution.
I don't know, perhaps the promotion will make me change my mind.

Thanks for the 9 episodes arc info!

Thanks for the news I'm glad that the people campaigning were heard.

I don't watch OUAT and I haven't seen Frozen, but I can't wait to hear more about the role, it would be nice to see her play a genuinely malevolent character!

I remember that Rachel was advertised as a possible villain at first, but that was when the role still belonged to Andrea Roth. The writers made clear when they replaced her with Liz that the character would more probably be a good one, and she was clearly one of the good guys since the beginning, even though she had her part of shadows like every other character on the show.

Anyways I'm very thrilled that she could play a villain this time. But I find surprising that nobody made the connexion with Angelina Jolie having played Maleficent. I'm already anticipating some interesting fan montages...

Also... I don't know how it goes on this show but... costume, maybe?

I meant to post this earlier, but Revolution received an Emmy nomination for Stunt Coordination:

Quote:
Outstanding Stunt Coordination For A Drama Series, Miniseries Or Movie - 2014

- Game of Thrones
- Grimm
- Hawaii Five-0
- Revolution
- The Blacklist
- True Blood

Source
Congrats.

I just checked last night's Creative Arts Emmy Award winners and Revolution wasn't among them. The Emmy for "Outstanding Stunt Coordination" went to The Blacklist this year.

Voting for the People's Choice Awards has started today. If you want to vote for Liz, you can do so here as a write-in vote. It's a shame that they seem to have done away with the "Favourite Villain" and "Favourite Anti-Hero" categories. I really enjoyed those last year.

Thanks for the link to the poll. I haven't submitted my vote yet, but I wonder if it will work this time when you use the box to insert a name yourself - I remember that I tried to vote that way in some past edition and the name typed-in wasn't truly registered by the system.

There will be a special two-hour episode of Once Upon A Time on November 16.

I have tried some write-in votes this year, but they didn't show up after I submitted them. Who knows if they are going to count or not?

Thanks for the news.

I guess there is no harm in trying to vote anyway, but I don't really expect her to make the cut - OUAT has a big fandom, but fans will vote for either Jennifer M. or Ginnifer G.

Agreed. And if they aren't voting for these 2, then they are probably voting for Lana P.
