Elizabeth Mitchell - Liz in 'Imperfect Justice': "The trial that stunned America."

The movie is based on prosecutor Jeff Ashton's book 'Imperfect Justice', and will follow the controversial murder trial of Caylee Anthony, acquitted on the charge of murdering her two-year-old daughter Caylee.
The film will rely heavily on news footage to give the picture a documentary look, and it won't use re-enactments of Anthony's life, film's writer Alison Cross said. "It's not our intention to make a movie that tries Casey Anthony for the third time," Cross said. "She was tried in court and she was tried by public opinion."

Elizabeth stars as Florida prosecutor Linda Burdick, with Rob Lowe in the role of fellow prosecutor Jeff Ashton. Oscar Nunez plays defense attorney Jose Baez, who helped win Anthony's acquittal.

The filming started at the end of May 2012 in Winnipeg, Canada, and lasted about 3 weeks.

'Imperfect Justice' is rumored to air on Lifetime in January 2013.

Sorry about the ultra boring OP and title, I truly had no idea what to put in it.

I resorted to using part of the 'Imperfect Justice' book cover as temporary pseudo-banner and one of the first lines of the book for the title as well.
Please, if you have better suggestions - post them.

David tweeted about the filming being completed yesterday - it could be that he was only talking his own scenes, but the early reports said the movie would take about 20 days to shoot, and they started at the end of May, so I took it as they all wrapped up.

Now we just have to wait 6 months or so to see the finished product.

It is. :/ I don't think the edit will take long - it's possible the airing date was choosen based on their best chances for ratings.

To think Yunjin Kim finished filming a movie on June 2, and they had a premiere last week, and the film hits theatres on July 19. That's how you do it!

Can "normal" IMDb users add new projects to an actor's profile? If they do, it might have been a fan updating Liz's page, otherwise it was done by her people and that title is the correct/final one.

If it was a theatrical movie or a new series, six months would be a fair wait. But it's a bit of a bummer to have to be patient for so long over a TV movie. :/
At least we know Liz plays one of the three main roles, so we should get a lot of scenes.
