Yes, I watched it once on TV, but that was a long time ago and I don't remember much of it. I didn't even know who Liz was, I watched it because it had Angelina Jolie and I was obsessed with Tomb Raider (the games and the movies ) I remember I liked it, and that it was sad. I will watch it again some day

Angelina was fantastic in Gia. I can understand why she won so many awards for the role. She thoroughly deserved it IMO.

Your first movie role was a memorable one as Angelina Jolie's lover in HBO's "Gia." What was your impression of Angelina back then? She's a unique and wonderful woman, a superhero. I got the part because I actually reached out and touched her leg in the audition. Angelina wanted me to get the part because she said I was the only woman who came in and touched her. She and I had a unique situation because we trusted each other immediately and we had an amazing chemistry because we work exactly the same way. We just dove into it. I think it was two young kids who were passionate about acting and having a chance to go for it, and we did. I can't think of a better experience and I love her. Angelina is awesome.

It's funny because Girl, Interrupted is one of my all time favorite movies. I watched it back in 2000 or 2001 (I don't remember the exact year) and Angelina's character, Lisa, is my favorite character from the movie. I fell in love with Angelina right after watching it and followed her career since that movie. But I never went too deeply into her career, I just watched the movies she did after Girl, Interrupted. She was my favorite actress before Liz, I always admired her personality. So I was really surprised when I figured out they did a movie together and got to watch it as soon as I could. What a dream. My two favorite actresses in a movie together (very together ). And of course, Angelina's character (and Winona's character) also sings Downtown on Girl, Interrupted. It's just funny or destiny.

But I'm more dedicated to Liz than Angelina. I devote some time of my life to follow news about her and stuff. Don't do the same thing with Angelina, just watch her movies. By the way, I'm looking forward to watch the one she wrote and directed.

I rewatched Gia the other night and my Gia/Linda obsession came back full. I've loved Elizabeth sice Lost and I was so surprised a while ago when I saw she had played the adorable Linda (I also hadn't figured she also played Linda McCartney too).
