Thanks for opening!
Oh, Anna - House has been renewed for a eight season of at least 18 episodes, but I haven't fully understood what happened with the actors' contracts, yet. __________________

Thanks for the title
I read that Robert Sean Leonard signed for season 8 (he was supposed to leave the show at the end of season 7). And that sucks, because it means that I'll have to watch it and me and a friend decided not to watch House next season if if Wilson was not in the show, and now we'll have to watch it I guess they offered him a lot of money, because he was not supposed to be in season 8. |

I saw the interview where he expressed his doubts about the commitment to the show, and I read today that he's the only one who may be keeping the same salary, while Omar and Lisa will likely have pay cuts.
I understand TPTB wanting to keep Wilson at all costs considering how his relationship with House is one of the pillars of the show, but it sucks for Omar and Lisa to get the short end of the stick. P.S. I'm off to eat something, see you in a little while if you'll be still online. __________________

Did you catch up? I can't bring myself to watch it, this season is so boring. I'm not liking the new girl, I hate Taub and I never liked Foreman or Chase. I think the last episode I saw was 7x13. That's why when we read that Robert Sean Leonard was not coming back next season, me and my friend decided to stop watching And I still haven't reached the part where Huddy break up Quote:

TFTNT!
title accurate Oh! NBC submissions they chose well the Parks&Rec episodes, I think. Flu Season and Harvest Festival are two of my favorites this season, but we still have 4 more episodes to watch... and I don't like much one of the Community episodes. And I can't remember 30 Rock's or Parenthood's very much So Rob Lowe is running for Lead Actor. What is his problem??? Doesn't he know that the supporting category exists? He would be like the 4th guy on the show I would consider lead Quote:

Sure, between the two Lisa's character is more "expendable" than Wilson, no doubt, but considering next year is very likely the last season, these kind of differences of contract feel like a bit of a slap in the face. Quote:
I used to like both Foreman and Chase, but lately I slipped into indifference about both characters. Honestly, I haven't understood yet what their intensions with the whole "ducklings shake up" some seasons ago were. Quote:
Not only I had to put something together for my dinner, I had to cook some stuff in advance for tomorrow's lunch. Oh joy. __________________

ETA - I haven't checked any episode submission yet! Gotta do that.

I also liked how they didn't try to copy Modern Warfare. I was super nervous about Josh's "debut" on a TV comedy (before this he had only been in a comedy movie and that one was atrocious ) but his Black Rider worked pretty well on screen, pushing all of Jeff's insecurities to the forefront. __________________

Yes, I'm glad it's completely different from Modern Warfare and I hope part 2 won't have as much Annie. Alex, you probably know this, do they submit more episodes or is just one per drama and two per comedy? ETA: HBO campaign box is pretty (much nicer than NBC's) Last edited by poehler-bear; 05-10-2011 at 02:42 PM |

Even Pierce, or Britta (I had a very hard time connecting to her, but I've overcome that), Community is basically my happy place in TV land. Not to say it's a perfect show, but I just like the cast and everyone's performances so much that I can't complain. I wish Dan Harmon tried less hard to make "special" episodes though, and went back to the more minimalistic style of S1. I love the meta on this show, but this season they're overdoing it. And okay, seeing Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill submit episodes for the awards kind of make me understand why V and others would do that, too. Never watched a single second of ******* My Dad Says. Is it as bad as one would assume? __________________

S1 was perfect. I loved everybody, nobody annoyed me, pretty much every episode made me happy. But s2 has been a let down and I'm glad I'm not alone (i love tumblr ). It focuses too much on romance too, whether it was Jeff/Annie or Jeff/Britta or even the weird Britta/Troy episode (and it really made me uncomfortable that they used molestation as a joke). I just want it to go back to the group, y'know? |
