Apparently, there are currently no plans to release Dead of Summer on DVD/Blu-Ray.. That obviously sucks for the fans, but I can also somewhat understand the network on this one. The ratings were miniscule at best and with the show ending after 1 season, they would probably be lucky to sell around 5000 DVD/Blu-Ray sets of this series. It just isn't a worthwhile financial investment.
