All right people! Despite some random April Fools' joke, The Vampire Diaries was indeed renewed for a 2nd Season. *insert crazy fangirly squee here* So what better way to support our favorite show and let them all know how much we love them.

Because of this, Meg, Jen and I thought we should give them something to tell them how much we love the show and right away think of the TVD Fanforum people as soon as they see it! So we all want to hear your ideas for what specifically we should get for them. We all want to hear your input, so don’t be shy give us ideas. We really want to do something original that we’ll be memorable to them.

Examples for this project are as follows:
- 1st option: scrapbook and DVD
postcards (with fan's messages) will be sent and collated in one scrapbook. Postcards from different countries so they'll know how big their fanbase is.
The DVD will be for those who can't send postcards but can send videos of themselves saying how much they love TVD.

- 2nd option: photobook*** and DVD
for the photobook, postcards will be scanned and put into one photobook, it can also include fanarts from fans. DVD is still the same.

*** photobook is much organized though we'll have to spend a little more money for the photobook processing.

One of our lovely girls in Atlanta had volunteered to hand the project to the cast and/or crew.

So if you have any ideas, post them here.

Basically, we'll just upload all arts, photos etc on their program and send it to them. The photobook company will be the one printing it for us.

All right, suggestions will run until mid May (2nd week). Then we'll finalize everything. We should be done with the project by the end of July.

Last season is was July 28th so yes, this needs to be done before then

So thought I would throw this out there, although its alot of work, but maybe sometime down the road,
when I was involved in Roswell, we made quilts for the cast and they were so cool. People signed up to make a square for the actor having to do with the show or their hobbies or whatever. Then everybody sent their squares to this woman who actually sewed them into the quilt. They were amazing and making the squares was neat. ( I think I did 3 diff ones).

of course, we would need someone who knows how to quilt and is willing to put all the squares together, and then a way to get it to the cast.

I guess also, along the same lines, you could do like a fabric banner too...same kind of idea, where people would make squares and we would put them all together.
Just thought I would toss that Idea out there.
