Loved Caroline this eppie. I love Damon and Stephan, and frankly I want more Damn/Stephan than Stephan/Elena or Damon/Elena. :p Is that weird?

Also, I want Caroline to DUMP Matt's sorry ass!!!!!!!!! I ****ing hate his character.

I understand really I get it now even if I dont feel the same way. Good point about emily I DONT THINK the one who killed the couple is damon. I think its KATHRYN CAUSE THATS what happened in the books. but well see

Finally Bonnie is back. About time! I totally understand why she's pissed at the vampires but she kinda shows more anger towards Stefan than towards Damon . Last episode totally made me start shipping Stefan and Bonnie. I also hope we'll get to see more of Bonnie's powers. She's getting stronger!

For those of you who think Bonnie has no personality, let's just say that if the writters had given her a REAL story line, she'd sure have some fiesty personality. Then again it's subjective because I think Bonnie has more personality than Elena ever had.

Elena still annoys the shiz out of me, but that's not new. I skipped the DE scenes, of course.

Anyway, I liked the episode, especially the Stefan and Bonnie scenes (which are pretty much the only characters I'm interested in, + Damon).

I have to agree with you on all of this. I don't think Paul's acting was over the top. Actually, I've been finding myself liking Stefan more & more lately. As for Damon, I must admit I found him twice less hotter in the last episode than in the previous ones. I guess I am just not interested in seeing him being all romantic with Elena.

I am the only one who finds it weird that Damon seems to be becoming more like Stefan from the first episodes (getting closer to Elena and getting nicer) and Stefan becoming more like Damon? uh? it must be te reason why I've found myself being bored while watching Damon's last scenes and interested with Stefan's ones.

I really wish they wouldn't have scrapped a story line they had planned to bring in one of Bonnie's cousins. it would have been an awesome opportunity to develop Bonnie more.

I loved this episode!! Having Bonnie back was great because she told Elena was angry at Stefan more than Damon and didn't want to share what was going on with her. Stefan drinking human blood = Seriously, what will happen? Will Elena lose interest? I especially loved Damon in this one because he was really worried about what Stefan was going through. Awwww!

Bonnie: I really didn't miss Bonnie at all. I don't think she adds anything to the series. And while Bonnie in the books is my absolute favourite - TV Bonnie seems like such a drain. She's not peppy, or emo or any strong emotion really - she's just kind of there, taking away screentime If they were going to have the witch supernatural element, I wish they'd given it to somebody with a bit more character. Even all the 'I blame him!' stuff, really her chance to shine, was delivered in the dullest. possible. way. Maybe she'll improve but I don't have much hope of me liking her if after 19 episodes I can't see the attraction.

Stefan: How does he manage to get more attractive each episode? I love him as the nice guy and I love him as the vampire on the edge - Paul is excellent at both. Same with Ian - and I agree with the above poster, they do seem to have swapped roles recently. I'm liking the out of control Stefan because it gives Paul a chance to show what he can do. It's easy to pass off him as uninteresting (Stefan) when he's always the good boy but there's going to be that duel personality in him, I guess. If the SL he gets out of it is as interesting as it has been, I'll be happy.

Caroline's back! I loved her little pep talk with Elena; she actually is a good friend - sometimes she's tactless and mostly rude but underneath it she has a good heart. Can this show not afford to have everyone work on the same episode? Where was Matt? Not that I was particularly annoyed he wasn't there but it would have been nice to see him escort Caroline throughout. But adorable Caroline is adorable. She won!

Anna/Jer - so cute! Is he playing her again though? Uncle Gilbert is freaking me out with his knowing glances

Damon & Elena's dance had me giggling - Ian had some ~serious eyes working for him there!

The dance was cool...I guess, but the song was distracting. It didn't fit with the scene.

I thought the song was great and FIT but Im a shipper anyway I dont dislike bonnie much but liked hr better before I WISH CAROLINE HAD BEEN THE WITCH and bonnie the friend but well

Stefan was down right scary in this episode, that was some great acting, but I prefer the brooding long suffering version of himself. Damon and Elena had a nice moment during the dance but I really like her and Stefan together.

Elena/Stefan dance scene was cute because they were having fun. Its too bad Stefan wasn’t like that more often but it kinda showed to me that she genuinely would be happier with Damon (and she is later on lol)

I love that Caroline convinced Elena to do the pageant because of her mom. That was sweet, even though Caroline didnt want to compete with her.

I agree that it was a nice break from Matt but seems odd that they didn’t have him escort Caroline.

DES were the best part of this episode to me, the rest of the stuff was pretty boring to me. The ending scene in the woods was so sad to see Damon's face over Stefan.

But watching Stefan go off the rails was really fun and I loved the DE stuff too obviously. When Damon stepped in for Elena..

The dance scene was really freaking adorable. I cant say I liked the song much either but it was cute. It was a really long scene and the eye contact between DE the entire time was . I truly think this was THE MOMENT for DE Damon realizing his feelings for Elena, and Elena starting to feel something there for Damon too.

Caroline winning yay!

The ending DE scene was the sweetest, I love that Damon stayed to be with Elena.
