Stefan is going insane. Geez whiz.

It's time to crown Miss Mystic Falls...and Caroline wins! Finally, she gets something good! However, it's not all that happy because they have discovered the broken mirror and blood and that the other girl (Amber's her name) is missing. Sheriff tells John to tell Damon. Damon tells Elena everything. Bonnie goes off with them to find him too.

Stefan is too busy drinking Amber's blood and he's trying not to but he can't help himself. He compels her to get frightened and run. Of course, he changes his mind and goes after her and attacks her again. He's so out of control but Bonnie does some spell that has really piercing sounds and is hurting my ears. He stops and runs off.

Okay, end...Bonnie's still pretty angry about everything. Doesn't want to talk to anyone. Jeremy and Anna are talking and being cute. John asks Jenna who that girl is and Jenna tells him that she's a friend who moved in with her mother, Pearl. Clearly, John knows everything now. Pearl, Damon, and Anna have a meeting where Pearl gives Damon a pocket watch (the one that Jonathan Gilbert used to find vampires). However, it's not the pocket watch? I'm sorry, I got confused here.

Stefan loses it more and Elena tries to comfort. Realizing she can't, she uses the tranquilizer to knock him out (I think she got it from Alaric. I missed the beginning of this last half because I was trying to recap the other). Then she and Damon put Stefan in the tomb (for him to calm down or whatever). It ends with both of them sitting outside of the tomb where Stefan has been put. Next week's episode appears to have flashbacks and apparently Stefan takes his ring off and decides to go out into the sunlight? At least that's what I think.

Wow Stefan was breaking my heart tonight I was yelling "Don't do it Stefan, don't drink her blood!" Elena has such faith in him :sigh:
Damon , I know he was saying he wanted Stefan under control because it was inconvenient for him but when he was holding his had out to Stefan and saying Come on I swear he seemed genuinely upset and worried about him!

I was so glad Damon stayed with Elena outside the room where Stefan is locked in. oh and I also loved watching them do that corney dance.
I like seeing Elena and Damon like this.
I am not invested in either side of this triangle and don't really like triangles but I do think the show is handling it really well.


so glad to see Bonnie back hope she and Elena can get back to what they used to be.:(

I do believe Pearl was sincere, at least I hope so. but what the heck is that invention??

Yeah, Bonnie and Elena need to repair that friendship but I can understand why Bonnie thinks things just can't go back to normal.

On a shallow note, I am in love with Paul Wesley's arms. :drool:

I'm sorry if my recap kind of sucked. It's hard to get it all down cause I'm running between the computer and the TV room. :blush:

So... Stefan's Elena treatment was so not what i expected. I thought the verbal abuse was going to be it.. I was shocked enough when he called her an idiot, but the slamming against the wall really caught me off guard!

I was welcoming when it came to uncle John because I thought he'd be a good enemy for Damon, but I wasn't too impressed this time around. I have faith though, so I do believe he'll one-up Damon soon.

Alaric/Elena, I'm loving their interactions!

Anna is beautiful! I'm glad it doesn't look like Jeremy is going to turn against the vamps, and that while he does feel betrayed he's kind of grateful for the mind-wipe.

Damon/Elena dance! I need that song ASAP!! And him staying with her was such a cute scene, both for him staying with Stefan and for wanting to accompany Elena.

Bonnie, yay for her powers??

And Caroline! Yay for no Matt!! I'm so glad she won.

DE dance :thud::love: Hello chemistry, where have you been all my life? I just downloaded that song. DE :thud::love: I loved them staying by Stefan's cell at the end. SO FREAKIN' CUTE. I love how much Damon loves Stefan, and you can so tell he cares about Elena.

FINALLY Stefan shows that he's a damn vampire. I loved him this episode, Paul freakin' rocked it. I felt his pain and his hunger. The scene at the end when he screams at Elena? The first time I've felt even a smidge of chemistry between Stefan/Elena. GREAT scene.

Bonnie annoys the shiz out of me, as per usual. Can't stand that character.

Caroline is adorable, and I'm so glad she won. I'm pissed Matt wasn't in the episode :pout:

Yeah, Paul did a great job. Good to finally see them give him something else than being the good guy.
