Sorry, guys. Tonight was one of the night's my mother wanted the computer.
 Anyway, there's no Bonnie, Caroline, Anna, Pearl, or other vampires. However, Uncle John Gilbert is very interesting. I hope this means lots more David Anders cause I'm loving him. Jeremy knows a little more now. I liked the end with Stefan drinking the blood and the gulp before the scene faded. I was also drooling all over Paul's arms in that beginning scene.   Next week looks like something the Damon/Elena fans might be enjoying a lot. ~CT __________________

 Anyway, I didn't care too much for tonight's episode. Loved a lot of the lines but as a whole, I was kinda meh about it. I do look forward to more David Anders though. ~CT __________________

Tonight really felt like a filler ep to me. There were a few good reveals I suppose, with finding out that Uncle John knew Isobel, Katharine, etc. I bet that the 1864 Jonathan Gilbert made the rings that John and Alaric have, and passed it down his family through the generations.
And I was SO GLAD to see Jeremy finally get off his ass and steal Elena's diary and find out what really happened, and what has been happening all year. FINALLY. You could tell he was so pissed at her at the end.  __________________
