I don't remember to be honest, I read them too much time ago, and practically just the first 4 ones, the others I only read the Delena scenes

The books? Not a chance, I can't stand the characters and thanks to stuff like the Wings of Powers it'd like to read a bad fanfic That's why I got so involved with the show, characters are so much better to me

I wish the friendships were as strong on the show as it was in the books.
I like the books but I agree with the critism of some of the writing.

I feel TVD did a better job at stretching out the longevity of the villians, especially Katherine. She was used 100000xxxxx better in the show than she was in the books and I'm happy about that.

Agree to disagree, the girls are all childish (I'll never forget that embaressing scene of them choosing dresses for the ball in the Dark Dimension ) in the books to me, Elena is unbarable and snob, Stefan boring, Damon not as much complex as in the show Same for Delena, I think in the show they're far more interesting and complex

I remember buying and reading the first 4 books the summer before Season 1 and than I remember reading the next "series" with those fox things but never got past it

One of the rare times that a show was 100x better than the books IMO
